SaveFamily offers a 3-year warranty from the date of product delivery.
The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, provided the products have been used according to the instructions. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, lack of care, or tampering not performed by the official SaveFamily service. Examples of damages not covered include breakage unrelated to manufacturing defects, impacts, scratches, or normal wear and tear.
Although our watches have an IP67 certification — guaranteeing limited resistance to dust and water immersion (up to 1 meter depth for a maximum of 30 minutes) — the warranty does not cover liquid damage.
This is because, in practice, it is not possible to objectively verify whether the instructions necessary to maintain this resistance have been followed correctly. Situations such as using the watch in pools, showers, or prolonged baths, exposure to high-pressure water jets, repeated immersion, or frequent contact with water can compromise seals, affecting the device’s operation even without visible damage.
Additionally, the watch requires prior user handling to start up (e.g., inserting the SIM card), and incorrect installation or improper closing of the cover can directly affect the device’s waterproofing, voiding its water protection.
For these reasons, and following standard industry practice, liquid damage is considered misuse and is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
To request warranty activation, contact our customer support team at info@savefamilygps.com including your order number, photos of the device, and a description of the issue. After evaluation, SaveFamily will consider repair or replacement.
If a device has been sent to our technical service for repair, the performed interventions have their own additional warranty according to the current consumer protection regulations in Spain.
Repaired or replaced parts are covered by a 1-year warranty from the delivery date of the repaired product to the customer.
This warranty applies exclusively to the repaired or replaced elements and does not restart the legal warranty period of the entire product.
If the product is completely replaced by a new device, a new 3-year legal warranty applies from the delivery date of the new device.
If the applicable legislation provides for a different additional warranty period, it will apply.
SaveFamily is not responsible for connection failures and configuration errors that may occur due to the use of third-party SIM cards.
Any matters related to SIM cards not from SaveFamily must be addressed directly with the SIM providers, who are responsible for their proper functioning.
