To verify accessibility settings and troubleshoot display issues in the SaveFamily app, follow these specific steps for your operating system.
Verifying Accessibility Settings on Android
If the SaveFamily app interface on your Android phone appears cut off, disorganized, or buttons don't respond where they should, it's very likely you have an accessibility setting enabled that's designed for another need. To correct this:
- Access System Settings on your Android phone.
- Go to "Accessibility" or search for "Accessibility" in the Settings search bar.
- Find and disable the following options:
- "Display size" or "Font size": Ensure it is not set to a size larger than the default ("Normal" or "Default"). An increased size can shift and hide buttons in apps that are not optimized for it.
- "Zoom", "Magnification" or "Magnify gestures": Verify that none of these options are accidentally enabled. Zoom can be configured to activate with a specific touch gesture (like a triple tap), so even if you don't use it, if it's enabled it can interfere.
- After disabling these options, close the SaveFamily app completely (by swiping it away from the recent apps menu) and reopen it. It should now display correctly.
Verifying Accessibility Settings on iOS (iPhone/iPad)
If you are using an iPhone or iPad and experiencing similar issues:
- Go to Settings > Accessibility.
- In the "Vision" section, check these options:
- "Zoom": Make sure it is disabled. This function can make the screen appear magnified, cutting off the edges of the app.
- "Larger Text": If enabled, adjust it to a size closer to the default. Very large text can disorganize menus.
- "Display & Text Size": Here you can also check "Display Zoom" and adjust it to "Standard".
- After making the changes, close the SaveFamily app from the app switcher and reopen it to apply the settings.
