Configuration in the SaveFamily App
Follow these steps to adjust the key settings:
General Settings: Night Saving Mode
- Recommended status: DEACTIVATED.
- What it does: This function is designed for very specific use at night. Keeping it deactivated during the day significantly improves overall battery life.
- Tip: Activate it only if it is strictly necessary for night-time monitoring.
Map Settings: Update Frequency
- Where it is: Go to Settings within the Map screen.
- Optimal configuration: Select "Normal Mode" and set the frequency to "every 10 minutes".
- Benefit: This interval offers a perfect balance between updated location and efficient battery consumption, avoiding unnecessarily frequent updates.
LBS Settings (Location via Mobile Towers)
- Recommended status: Completely DEACTIVATED.
- Why: The LBS system uses mobile phone towers to estimate location, which is usually less accurate than GPS and, in many cases, consumes more battery unnecessarily.
- Benefit: Deactivating it allows for significant energy savings and favors the use of GPS for more precise location.
Optimal Configuration Summary
| Configuration | Recommended Status | Main Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Night Saving Mode | DEACTIVATED | Longer battery life during the day. |
| Map Frequency | Every 10 minutes | Balance between real-time location and energy saving. |
| LBS System | DEACTIVATED | Significant battery saving and greater accuracy. |
Quick Steps to Apply the Configuration
To apply all settings at once, follow this path in your app:
- Open the SaveFamily App.
- Go to the Settings menu (general or from the map).
- Deactivate the "Night Saving Mode" option.
- In the Map section, set the update frequency to "every 10 minutes".
- Find and completely deactivate the "LBS" option.
- Save the changes.
Additional Battery Tips
- Perform full charges regularly to calibrate the battery.
- Make sure the SaveFamily app is updated to the latest version available in your app store.
- After changing important configurations, consider restarting the watch for the new settings to apply correctly.
- Remember that Night Mode or Power Saving Mode is designed for specific, occasional use; keeping it permanently activated will limit functionalities and is not necessary for daily savings with the configuration recommended above.
