To reset the watch to factory settings, use the mobile app with the watch connected to the internet and go to Settings Remote Programming Restore Default Settings. This can fix sync issues, notification problems, GPS errors, system slowness, incorrect settings, or prepare the watch for a new user. Note that all personal data and settings will be erased, requiring re-pairing with the app.
From the mobile app, with the watch synced and connected to the internet (either via mobile data or WiFi), go to: Settings > Remote Programming > Restore Default Settings.
Resetting the device to factory settings can resolve certain malfunctions, such as:
- Synchronisation issues between the watch and the app
- Problems receiving notifications or calls
- Errors updating the GPS location
- Slowness or occasional system crashes
- Incorrect settings that cannot be undone manually
- Preparing the watch before transferring it to another user
Important: Restoring factory settings will erase all personal data and customised configurations from the watch. You will need to pair it with the app again as if for the first time.
