If you are experiencing problems with Spotify on your SaveFamily watch, we recommend following this complete reinstallation process. It is important to carry it out in the order shown and to meet the prerequisites.
Prerequisites:
- Watch synchronised with the mobile app
- Internet connection (mobile data or WiFi)
- Watch battery at least 80% charged
Step 1: Uninstall the App
From the SaveFamily mobile app, with the watch synchronised and connected:
- Go to Settings > App Store.
- Find Spotify in the list of installed applications.
- Select the Uninstall option.
- Wait for the watch to confirm that the application has been removed.
This process removes the app from the watch but does not affect your personal data or settings.
Step 2: Download and Install the App (not the Lite version)
From the same section of the mobile app:
- Stay in Settings > App Store.
- Find Spotify in the catalogue of available applications.
- Make sure to select the full version of Spotify, not the Lite version.
- Activate the installation to send the download instruction to the watch.
- On the watch, confirm the installation when the notification appears on the screen.
- Wait for the download and installation to complete fully (this process may take several minutes).
Step 3: Restart the Watch
Once the installation is complete:
- On the watch itself, access the menu by swiping the main screen.
- Find and select the Power off or Restart icon (usually represented by a power symbol).
- Confirm the Restart option on the screen.
- Wait for the watch to restart completely and synchronise again with the network.
This step is essential for the changes to be applied correctly and for the app to run stably.
Step 4: Set Up Your Account
With the watch now restarted:
- Locate the Spotify icon in the watch's applications menu.
- Open it and accept the requested permissions.
- Enter your login details:
- Email address associated with your Spotify account
- Password for your account
- If you have two-step verification activated, complete the additional process from your mobile.
- Once logged in, the app will synchronise your playlists and begin to function normally.
