The verification code is sent by email, not by SMS. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder, wait a few minutes, make sure your email address is spelt correctly and request a new code from the verification screen. If it still does not arrive, try registering with a different email address.
What is the verification code?
During registration in the app, a verification code is sent to your email. You need to enter this code in the app to confirm that your email address is correct and to complete the creation of your account.
The verification code is sent by email, not by SMS.
Step-by-step guide to the verification process:
- During registration, you enter your email address
- The app sends a verification code to that email address
- You receive a message in your inbox with the code
- You enter that code in the app to validate your account
What should you do if you do not receive the verification code?
1. Check your Spam or Junk folder
Automatic emails can sometimes be filtered as spam. Check this folder and, if you find the email, mark it as "Not spam" so that future messages reach your inbox.
2. Wait a few minutes
There may be delays in delivering the email. Wait at least 2 or 3 minutes before trying again.
3. Check that you have entered your email address correctly
A mistake in the address (a misspelt letter, an extra dot, forgetting the .com) will mean the code never arrives. Check that the address you entered is correct.
4. Request a new code
Look for the "Resend code" or "Send again" option on the verification screen.
5. Check that the email is not being blocked
Make sure your email provider is not blocking messages from SaveFamily. You can add SaveFamily's email address to your list of contacts or safe senders.
6. Try a different email address
If you still have not received the code after several attempts, try registering with an alternative email address (for example, from Gmail, Outlook or another provider).
