Remote photo makes the watch take a picture remotely, as a safety tool for the child. It is activated from Features → Remote connection → Remote photo and, after a countdown, the watch takes the photo. To see it in the gallery, leave the screen and go back in. Photos can only be viewed within the app.
What is remote photo?
The remote photo feature is designed to give the child a safety tool in hostile environments, for example in situations of bullying at school.
This is how it works: the app asks the watch to take a photo remotely.
Important: This feature must be used responsibly and only in emergencies or in situations where the child's safety is at stake.
Step-by-step guide to using remote photo:
- Open the app
- Select the Features section
- Go to Remote connection
- Select Remote photo
- Tap the remote photo option
- A countdown will appear
- The watch takes the photo
How to view the photos taken:
On this same screen you will find the photo gallery of the photos taken remotely.
To view the latest photo taken, you need to refresh the screen of the app by going back out to the remote photo option and opening it again. This will update the gallery.
Recommendations:
- Make sure the watch has mobile data coverage before starting a remote photo.
- After taking the photo, remember that you need to leave the remote photo screen and go back in to see the updated image. It does not update automatically.
- Photos can only be viewed within the app. If you need to save them to your phone or share them, this is not currently possible from the app.
