Remote listening makes the watch call the number you enter and, when you answer, you hear in real time the sound around the watch. It is activated from Features → Remote connection and must be used responsibly, only in emergencies or where the child's safety is at stake. No audio is recorded.
What is remote listening?
The remote listening feature is designed to give the child a safety tool in hostile environments, for example in situations of bullying at school.
This is how it works: the app asks the watch to make a call to the phone number you enter in the request.
Important: This feature must be used responsibly and only in emergencies or in situations where the child's safety is at stake.
Step-by-step guide to using remote listening:
- Open the app
- Go to Features
- Select Remote connection
- A window will appear where you need to enter the phone number you want the watch to call (usually the number of your own mobile phone)
- The request reaches the watch
- The watch calls the number you entered
- For you, this is an incoming call on your mobile phone
- When you answer, you will hear the ambient sound of wherever the watch is
What this feature does NOT do:
Remote listening sessions are not recorded in any form. It is real-time listening; no audio file is stored.
