A safe zone is an area on the map, such as school or home, for which the app can notify you when the watch enters or leaves it. To create one, open the Map, expand the options, tap the drop icon, choose the radius and give it a name. To edit it, tap the zone you created.
A safe zone is a geographical area that you can define on the map (for example, school, the park, the grandparents' house, etc.). When the watch enters or leaves that zone, the app can send you a notification so that you know the child, or the person wearing the watch, has arrived at or left that place.
Step-by-step guide to creating a safe zone:
- Open the app and tap the Map icon
- Open the list of available options (there are usually several icons or a drop-down menu on the map screen)
- Tap the "drop" icon to select the safe zone option
- Select the radius of the safe zone (that is, the size of the circle that will mark out the area. A smaller radius means a more precise zone; a larger radius will cover more ground)
- Give the safe zone a name (for example, "School", "Home", "Park"). You can also add an optional description if you wish
- Once it is set up, the zone will be saved and the app will start monitoring when the watch enters and leaves that area
How to edit an existing safe zone:
- "If you want to edit the safe zone, you need to tap the safe zone you created and the edit option will appear"
